Create a lasting legacy for your community
A bequest to the MCSC provides a lasting contribution to your community into the future.
This compassionate and thoughtful donation enables a contribution that may not be possible during your lifetime– reflecting your empathy for those in our community who come to the Centre needing a hand up in time of need.
It can also enable the Service to expand its services in the future and the number of people it can get back on track.
A bequest can include any of the following forms:
· Cash expressed as a dollar amount
· a percentage of an estate or the residual value of an estate
· real estate such as housing
· distributions from a trust.
Ideally, bequests that are untied gives the Service flexibility to use their support where the need is most in the future, but if there is a particular aspect of our services you wish to support you can express that and we will respect your wishes.
We invite you to reach out to us if you are considering a bequest, so we can assure you as to how your gift will benefit the Centre and through us, the Mornington community.
Additionally, by informing us of your bequest grants us the opportunity to appropriately thank you for your gift and ensure your contribution is acknowledged in line with your wishes.

Gifts in Will online option
Many people intend to write a Will but put it off because it feels time consuming, expensive or complicated. In fact, only 60% of Australians have a will, which can cause many difficulties in managing an estate and other matters for family or friends after a passing at the most challenging time.
To help avoid this, we wanted to offer a practical option that removes some of those barriers.
Safewill is a trusted Australian online platform that lets you create a legally valid Will from home, with guided steps, support, and the ability to update it as circumstances change in an easy to use website.
Through this partnership, we’re making it easier for anyone looking to support us to plan ahead with confidence.
If your estate is more complex, we recommend seeking independent legal advice
